This was a Christmas special edition of the programme. The songs categorised as Goodbye featured artists or producers who died in 2011. The Nobody's Diary entries had all been previously featured on the programme. The songs categorised as Not About Christmas were festive records by association only, due to initial release in a December and subsequent inclusion on Christmas compilation albums, as opposed to any real connection with Christmas. The unlabelled songs are familiar Christmas hits of the 1980s.
